Have you ever thought of debt as being in prison? If you look closely, there are many similarities.

Debt
Prison
1. Took a lack of self-control to get here.
1. Took a lack of self-control to get here.
2. Controls you and your future spending.
2. You have almost zero control of your life choices while there.
3. Stressful.
3. Stressful (to say the least).
4. To get out of it, it takes change in spending habits.
4. To get out of it, it takes an extreme change of heart
5. Weighs down your potential.
5. De-moralizes you.
6. Strains and breaks relationships.
6. Tears apart friends and family.
7. Robs your children of hopeful futures.
7. Robs your children of time with you.
8. Kills your dreams.
8. Forces you to make new dreams.
9. Can be defeated.
9. Cannot be reversed, but can be avoided for the future.
10. Makes you stronger once you are rid of it.
10. Makes you stronger once you get out.

Makes you want to get out of debt right away doesn't it? In my opinion, this is a pretty harsh analogy, but it gives you a great reason for avoiding debt at all costs.

I hope you never have to experience debt in this way. Reduce your expenses with a tool like the 5G Plan, and then do everything you can to pay off your debt before it starts to escalate. You can do it! Say "NO" to the debt prison.
