How would you like to buy a Macbook for only $24.97? Or maybe a digital camera for only $15.78?!! It's possible with Quibids.com. I would spend a whole lot of time typing out how it works, but instead I'm just going to let the following video do that for me: My thoughts and advice: I was reading through the "Quibids 101" which gives a lot of tips and tricks on how to bid well and found some good information to share with you. First of all (this is coming from me, not Quibids 101), I think Quibid should only be a place that you go to when you are already in the market to buy a particular item. Do not log in to your Quibids account just to see what you shoud bid on every day. This will cause dis-contentment and make you waste your money on things you do not necessarily need (And I HATE it when people waste their money!). Ok, that said, here are a few tips I picked up on. Set realistic expectations: Don't go into a bid thinking that you will probably win a high ticket item like a Macbook Pro. Realize that you are bidding against hundreds of people who want the same thing. Find a time of the day when you think that most people will not be bidding. This could be the afternoon or the early morning, I have no clue (except I do know that most people bid in the evenings), but find your "secret time" and stick to it. Focus on one bid at a time. Do not spread yourself too thin by bidding on several items at a time. Keep it simple and focus on one thing at a time. As I mentioned before, if you are in the market for a particular item, great, go for it! Because if you don't get it, you can use the "Buy it Now" feature and still get it for face value. In other words, Quibids may be worth a try. But if you have saved your money for the item anyways, then, "Oh well." Well, those are my thoughts on Quibids. Good luck! |
