 You have to admit, there are thousands of ways to give your money to those in need, but a large percentage of those ways are just not effective.
What does it means to not give effectively?
In my opinion, it is not always about the result that the giving brings, but rather a matter of the heart of both the giver and the receiver. When you give joyfully, you will be truly blessed. When a person receives something with a grateful heart, they will be truly blessed as well. Ok, that's my little soap box about the real essence of giving, but now lets go back to the results of giving.

Have you donated money to the Haiti relief efforts yet?

As you probably already know, Haiti needs our help. These precious people are in a devastating situation that will alter their lives forever. There are well over 200,000 people dead, 150,000 injured, too many to count are now homeless, and nearly 3 million of Haiti's 9 million people are estimated to be in need of aid. (according to a recent Fox News report).
Three Ways to Give:
- Text "Haiti" to 90999 to give $10 to Red Cross. You can do this as many times as you want and the $10 will be deducted from your cell phone bill automatically.

So there I was, at Chic-fil-a...
It was 5:35 AM on Wednesday morning. My wife somehow convinced me to take off work for the day so that we could hang out for 24 hours (in the cold) in order to get free Chic-fil-a for a year - 52 coupons to each person if you are of the first 100 people. By default, the wheels in my head started turning as I tried to decide if this would be worth doing or not.
